Sometimes.. you have your heart ripped out of your body… and you wander around.. day after day after day… wondering HOW LONG it’s going to last… the feeling that EVERYTHING that you wanted… everything you dreamed… and meditated on… that you invested…. COULDN’T invest in you. HOW LONG? When does that empty feeling go away? The feeling like the present you have wanted ALL YOUR LIFE…. sits so nicely in your lap for a while.. you touch it and play with it.. and after a short time you realize that it’s broken.. and you will have to take it back… and it’s a CUSTOM present.. so there will never be another one… true you can have something different… and that’s ok too… but it will NEVER match up with what you have always wanted…. EVER. And you just have to give it back… as much as your heart cries… “NO!!! I WANT IT.. I DON’T CARE THAT ITS BROKEN!!PLEASE!! DON’T TAKE IT AWAY… I’LL PLAY WITH IT BROKEN!!” but you know…. you know that that will only last so long.. and you know what you have to do.. give it back…and you do.. and your heart aches.. and aches..
